How do we store your data?

General

Your data is stored securely on our website, which is regularly backed up to two separate secure servers. Only the site admin (Helen) has access to your data on the website.

The Love Not Shame website, including any personal data stored on it, is hosted on a shared server run by Enix Ltd. trading as EcoHosting, a company incorporated in England and Wales (registration number: 05861377). There may be situations where Enix Ltd accesses the data, including any personal data. Both Love Not Shame and Enix Ltd have agreed to store and process your data in accordance with the GDPR data protection law, and we have formalised this agreement in signed legal document called a DPA (Data Processing Agreement).

Wordfence processes your IP address to check for known hackers and mallicious users. It stores most IP addresses for up to 90 days, but stores the IP addresses of mallicious users for longer if necessary so that it can share them with other Wordfence users and protect their sites. Wordfence stores and processes this data in line with GDPR. You can read their Standard Contractual Clauses to find out more.

When you subscribe to our membership community

When you sign up to our membership community, there are three additional organisations that store your data: SureCart (an ecommerce platform), Stripe (a payment processing provider) and SureMembers (a membership management platform). All three store your data outside of the UK but work to GDPR principles. You can view their privacy policies here:
